Have you ever heard the symphony of sounds 'candle ice' makes during spring melt? Listen to the water music as waves cause ice chunks to chime when they strike each other along the shore of Lake George.

Photographer Carl Heilman II caught the 'candle ice' washing up against the shoreline at Rogers Rock Campground in Lake George.

Candle ice forms on the surface of a lake, making a clinking sound when the "candles" are broken apart and float in the water, bumping up against each other.
