Join the Herkimer County Humane Society for their 22nd annual Mutt Strutt, coming up in June at Herkimer County Community College.

The Mutt Strutt is one of the Herkimer County Human Society's biggest fundraisers of the year. If you didn't know, this humane society is a non-profit organization, which means donations from the general public and fundraising efforts is their main source of money coming in, so they can stay up and running.

Now you can help them as they help animals in our community, by taking part in this year's Mutt Strutt. The event happens on Saturday, June 2nd and goes from 12pm to 4pm. ***If it rains, they will make up the walk on Sunday, June 3rd.

You can start collecting pledges now for the Mutt Strutt, by printing out the "pledge form" from the Herkimer County Human Society's website. If you raise $25 or more, you'll get a t-shirt.

Last year, this fantastic event raised over $13,000 and they're hoping to beat that this year. You can get more details on the Mutt Strutt and contact info if you have any questions or concerns, by visiting: HerkHumane.org
