Herkimer Woman Wins $1 Million New York Lottery Prize

A Herkimer woman has won $1 million in the New York Lottery's 7*11*21 scratch off game.

Sharon Kinney claimed her winning ticket at the Lottery's Schenectady Customer Service Center.

Kinney's winning scratch off-ticket was part of a Mother's Day gift from her daughter, who bought the ticket at Smoker Friendly on North Main Street in Herkimer.

Kinney will get a one-time lump sum payment of nearly $503,000.

She says she plans to use the money to save for college for her children, pay some bills and make some investments for the future.
