High School Seniors Gave Up Class Trip To Help Fund Principal’s Cancer Treatment
At the end of last week, high school principal Courtney Vashaw at the Profile School in Bethlehem, New Hampshire revealed to students that she has been diagnosed with cancer. The senior class immediately decided to set the sad news aside and help start fundraising.
According to Perez Hilton, the seniors donated the money they would have spent on their class trip, and were able to donate $8,000 to Courtney's cancer treatment.
The senior class says that Courtney has touched every single one of them and voted unanimously to help their administrator — and they plan on doing even more fundraising in the near future."
