JR and Naomi Lynn got the wonderful opportunity to talk to Allie Kiesel - She's the Sauquoit Native that has made her way onto Broadway in the show "A Christmas Story: The Musical."

Allie Kiesel is just 11 years old, but her goals are sky-high. She's been given an amazing opportunity that many performers can only dream of - Being a part of a Broadway Show. She's making her Broadway debut in "A Christmas Story: The Musical." This show is actually coming to the Stanley Theatre in Utica, so you can see Allie perform!

In the show, Allie has more than one role - She will play the part of Mary Beth, and she will also be a part of the girl's ensemble (which is in many scenes throughout the show).

JR and Naomi Lynn got the chance to ask Allie all about her adventures as she gets ready for her big performance. They asked her what it was like practicing for this show - Which by the way, she learned all her dancing and singing in three weeks... THREE WEEKS! They also asked her what her friends and family think about her performing in a Broadway Show and what she loves about being on the stage. You can listen to the whole interview in the video (at the top of this page).

"A Christmas Story: The Musical" is being presented by Broadway Utica and will be at the Stanley Theatre Tuesday, November 15th and Wednesday, November 16th at 7:30pm. You can get your tickets by calling Broadway Utica at: (315) 724-7196 or stopping by at the box office on Genesee Street. You can also get more details by visiting: BroadwayUtica.com
