JR and Naomi Lynn got the chance to talk to Tiffany Engen - A performer in the Broadway Musical "Kinky Boots." She tells us a little bit more about the show.

The Tony Award-Winning Broadway Show "Kinky Boots" is coming to the Stanley Theatre September 6th, 7th, and 8th. As we get ready this amazing show that's still on Broadway, JR and Naomi Lynn had the opportunity to call one of the cast members and get her input on "Kinky Boots."

Tiffany Engen made her debut on Broadway with the show 'Legally Blonde,' but now she has been focused on her current show "Kinky Boots." She tells us that "Kinky Boots" is all about Charlie Price - A man who takes over the family business of making shoes. Unfortunately, their business has fallen on some pretty tough times and they need to find a new consumer to market their shoes to. That's when they find "Lola" - A fabulous drag queen who needs some sturdy stilettos. Tiffany says the show incorporates some key qualities in life we should always be living by - Things like love, tolerance, and not judging a book by it's cover.

She then went on to explain her character in the show, who is "Lauren." Lauren is the one to help Charlie come up with the idea for their new consumers of their shoes. She also sings "The History of Wrong Guys," which Tiffany says is the most Cyndi Lauper-isk song in the show. She then described the different genres and styles of music that Lauper pulled from to create the music and lyrics to "Kinky Boots."
