#IVoted: Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Lauren Jauregui Tweet Day-Of Election Reports
Do away with the idea that singers or movie stars are politically apathetic — on Election Day 2016, celebrities like Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys and Lauren Jauregui of Fifth Harmony are raising their voices as the public continues to crowd polling stations nationwide. #IVoted has officially gone Hollywood.
Today (November 8), as part of a race that has has pit Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton against Republican nominee Donald Trump, Hollywood A-listers continue to demonstrate that they don't take their right to vote for granted. Joe Jonas, Anna Kendrick and Taylor Swift are just some celebs who've shared photos on Twitter and Instagram amid ballot boxes (but not inside the booths, as Justin Timberlake can caution against). Others, like Karlie Kloss, have shown how they've flexed their absentee-vote muscles and Mae Whitman spoke for many of us when she admitted that the race and media coverage has left her with only the strength to stress-eat. We feel you, M.
