Rochester’s Jenna Renae Takes Us to Church on American Idol [VIDEO]
Jenna Renae took us all to church on American Idol as 12 of the top 24 performed for a spot in the top 14. Renae of Williamson, New York performed Maren Morris' 'My Church.'
Keith Urban, who has Morris on his 'Rip Cord' tour this year, was a fan of Renae from the first note. "I love this song," he proclaimed.
WOOOHOOOO #mychurch #IdolTop24 ⛪️🎶

Harry Connick Jr wasn't as supportive, telling Renae she sometimes sounded like she was shouting rather than singing. Although Renae appreciated the constructive criticism, her fans did not.
I appreciate y'all standing up for me..You are so sweet. But @HarryConnickJR is a musical genius. It was an honor to get his feedback!! — Jenna Renae (@JennaRenaeMusic) February 11, 2016
The top 12 will team up with former Idols for tonight's duet performances. From the looks of Renae's tweet, she'll be performing with Scotty McCreery.
Y'all aren't even ready for the honky-tonk that is about to go down tomorrow with @ScottyMcCreery !! 😍@AmericanIdol pic.twitter.com/rPZRl10N7i
