He performed in Upstate New York back in 2017 - and now it's been announced he's coming back. TWICE. John Mayer is heading out on the road with Dead & Company and then embarks on his own summer tour, and he'll be playing in Upstate New York.

Unfortunately though, not in Utica. He'll be heading to Saratoga Performing Arts Center in June and then the Times Union Center in July.

The show on June 18th, he's on with Dead & Company. Tickets are on sale now for that. According to Rolling Stone, the Dead & Company lineup features Mayer, Hart, Kreutzmann and Weir, along with former Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti.

As far as his solo tour, he's kicking it off in Albany on July 19th. Tickets go on sale to the general public February 1st at noon through Ticketmaster. If you have an American Express card, you can get access to a presale code to get your tickets early. There is also VIP tickets that can be purchased, according to Mayer's website. Tickets run from $39.50 to $150.

I remember when he came to Albany last and was spotted numerous times hanging out around the area. Guess he really enjoys the Capital region.
