The Harlem Globetrotters are kicking off their World Tour, which includes a handful of stops in New York, and a few of those appearances are right in our area.

Have you ever watched the Harlem Globetrotters before? If so, you KNOW what kind of exciting, highly-entertaining show you're in for. If you haven't seen them before, you'll be in for an amazing show. They're going on a World Tour, which will start on Thursday, November 1st in Utah. This tour will run through May 2019 and it includes stops all over the country, Canada, the UK, even France and Germany.

On their list of stops, 13 are in New York... THIRTEEN!! That's a lot of dates, and a lot of chances to get out and see the Globetrotters within the next handful of months. Yes, some of those are near or in New York City, and some are on the western side of our state, but there are a few stops that are a LOT closer to home.

According to the World Tour Schedule on the Harlem Globetrotters' website, here are the closest stops to the Central New York area:

***The Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium on Thursday, February 7th, 2019
***Times Union Center in Albany on Sunday, February 10th, 2019
***Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Binghamton on Thursday, April 4th, 2019

As you can see from the first listed date, you don't have to travel to see the Harlem Globetrotters, they're going to be right in Utica!

Tickets are not available yet, but they DO go on sale for their Utica appearance on Thursday, October 18th.
