Another band can be added to the growing list of performers coming to our area this summer. And when we say "New York," we're not talking about New York City.

The group "Kings of Leon," known for their hits like "Use Somebody" and "Sex on Fire," will be making three stops in New York this summer, starting at the end of July. One of those stops happen to be right in Syracuse, at the Lakeview Amphitheater (and rumor has it, it's the band's first time in Syracuse). These are the dates and locations for their stops in our state:

- Wednesday, July 26th at SPAC in Saratoga Springs
- Wednesday, August 2nd at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Center
- Saturday, August 5th at Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse

All these shows start at 7pm. Joining Kings of Leon in Syracuse and Saratoga Springs is Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.

Tickets are not on sale yet, but they will be available before the start of next week. Presale tickets for their show at SPAC and the Lakeview Amphitheater go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday, February 1st) at 10am. Presale tickets for the Kings of Leon at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center go on sale Thursday (February 2nd) at 10am. General public tickets for all three shows go on sale starting Saturday, February 4th at 10am.

Kings of Leon are added to the list of big name artists who have announced tour dates in Upstate New York. Others include Green Day, Boyz II Men, Flo Rida, Joan Jett, Train, Natasha Bedingfield, and O.A.R. among many more.
