Lite 98.7 Honors Lisa Of Whitesboro Fit Body Boot Camp
Is there a woman owned and operated business in the Central New York area that you just LOVE? We want to hear about them with WOO.
This month we wanted to honor our sponsor of WOO, and a female business owner herself, Lisa Briggs. Lisa currently owns Whitesboro Fit Body Boot Camp located at 34 Oriskany Blvd in Whitesboro.
Lisa is all about creating an environment full of support, positivity and fun. Her second location, Clinton Fit Body Boot Camp will be located at 34 Chenango Ave in Clinton.
Whitesboro Fit Body Boot Camp is always supporting those in our community. For example, every October Lisa runs a Burpees for Boobies campaign for breast cancer awareness month. For 2023, she raised over $8,000. This month, Whitesboro Fit Body Boot Camp and Whitesboro Fit Body Forever are collecting food items for The Center for Family Life and Recovery and expects to surpass the goal of feeding more than 60 families.
There is a Black Friday Sale going on now! Pay only 20.23 to work out for the rest of the year! Get UNLIMITED group fitness classes for the rest of the year when you make a 3-month commitment to join Whitesboro Fit Body Boot Camp in 2024! Only 15 spots available, so the time is now!
What Is WOO?
Is there a woman owned and operated business in your area that you just LOVE? What about you-- are you the proprietor of a women owned and operated business in the Mohawk Valley? Nominate them (and/or yourself) for WOO!
WOO is a new community program hosted by Envy McKee and Dave Wheeler from Best Morning on Lite 98.7 as they recognize our area's best Women Owned and Operated (WOO!) businesses throughout the Mohawk Valley. Each week, Dave and Envy will encourage listeners to nominate their favorite Women Owned & Operated Businesses to be announced and celebrated on air and online! All nominees will be entered into a monthly drawing to be featured on Ladies' Dish Tuesday on Best Morning, plus more goodies to be announced later.
What is a Women Owned and Operated Business and Who is Eligible to be Nominated?
According to good ole Wikipedia, a Women Owned and Operated Business is a small business that is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled on a daily basis by one or more (in combination) women. It could be a bakery or a restaurant. A yoga studio or a beauty salon. It could be an ad agency or a law firm-- you name it-- if you are a woman who owns your own business-- you can be nominated for WOO!
WOO! Is Brought to You in Part by Whitesboro Fit Body Bootcamp
