Will you consider parting ways with your musical instrument that's collecting dust up in your attic? We want to help out underprivileged students at Proctor High School by offering them the Gift of Music.

There are many Utica area students who would love an opportunity to play an instrument, but their family simply doesn't have the financial means to purchase one. Instruments can be really expensive, but the Gift of Music could be a priceless present to a Proctor High School student who really wants to play.

Here's where you can make a difference:

No matter the condition or age, bring it to our collection event at Sangertown Square Mall on May 14th. With the help of Samco Music in Dolgeville and Proctor High School, it will be refurbished and given to a local student with a desire to play music. Help make musical dreams come true, give the gift of music.

Did you know that playing an instrument can have positive, and life transforming effects including improved brain function, enhanced coordination, and better math skills? According to Effectivemusicteaching.com, the gift of music can improve reading comprehension skills, sharpen concentration, and help to reduce stress too.
