The wind’s getting colder, the nights are getting longer, and somewhere out there, a floorboard just creaked when no one was home.

Halloween is creeping closer, and here in Central New York, you don’t have to look far to find something that goes bump in the night. Maybe it’s a whisper in your hallway when you’re the only one awake. Maybe it’s that feeling that someone’s watching, only to find nothing there but the still air and your racing heartbeat.

Or maybe you’ve got the real deal, a true ghost story you’ve never told out loud.

Your Story Could Be Heard On-Air

This year, I’m collecting the spookiest listener stories from across Central New York, and sharing the best of them on-air for Halloween.

If you’ve ever:

  • Lived in a house with a mind (or ghost) of its own

  • Spotted something unexplainable in your backyard

  • Heard footsteps in an empty hallway

  • Or had a late-night encounter that still gives you chills…

I want to hear it.

Send me your story... funny, creepy, tragic, or totally bizarre, and I might feature it during our Halloween broadcast.

Be sure to include your first name, town, and what happened. Bonus points if it’s local, because let’s be honest, Central New York has plenty of haunted history to choose from.

Send it in.
I’ll be waiting.
(And so will they.) 👀🎃

Halloween Pet Safety Tips

Halloween should be fun for the whole family, including the furry, feathered, and wild ones that share our neighborhoods. A little extra caution keeps everyone safe and lets you enjoy the best part: the candy, the costumes, and the community.

How to Pick the Perfect Pumpkin

This fall, skip the grocery store bins and head to one of the local farms for a pumpkin that’s as fresh and unique as the season itself.
