Madison’s Fans Claim Glitch In American Idol Voting

Did you have any issues voting for Madison VanDenburg last night on American Idol?

Scrolling through the comments on Facebook and Twitter it seemed that many people received an 'error' message once they voted or in some instances votes for Madison appeared to not have been counted at all. What's the explanation for this?

I'm not calling it a conspiracy, but it would be nice to know what the actual vote count was.  Many people are suggesting that their vote didn't count and that an error message stated "Sorry we don't recognize your response. Check the keyword or number and try again. Send STOP to cancel, send HELP for help. Msg&data rates may apply."

The reason for this may be because some people got their vote in too late.  At approximately 9:15, Madison had been voted off.  Some votes that appeared to not have counted may have been sent in after the voting period may have ended at approximately 9pm.
