Driving through Hamilton over the weekend, we caught a fleeting glimpse of something green when passing the McDonald's on Route 12B.  Could it be?  Are the Shamrock Shakes back for 2013?

I took a quick tour of the McDonald's in the immediate area on Sunday but didn't see any indications of the elusive shake that's as certain a harbinger of spring as the rodent on Groundhog Day.

Out for lunch today (Wednesday February 2nd) I spotted the sign above at the McDonald's in North Utica on Genesee Street.  It looks like the shakes are back in Central New York in all their green glory.
