Shamrock Shake Already Spotted in Central New York in 2019?
Every year at this time there is anticipation. Of course Valentine's Day is near, but for some of us, there's something even nearer and dearer to our hearts.
The McDonald's Shamrock Shake. McDonald’s McCafé has allegedly engaged in some early releases of the annual St. Patrick’s day treat--a green, mint-flavored vanilla milkshake dessert sold during March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. And there MAY have been a sighting already in Central New York in 2019. Yes, a February sighting.
And...there's at least one allegedly reliable website to help you get to the bottom of the issue:
The Shake Locator
This fan-run website has Shamrock-crazed folks posting their sightings of the shake, even before stores release WHEN they are selling them. Oh, yes, that DOES occur. According to ShakeLocator.com, there has been at least one sighting in Central New York, on February 5th, at a McDonald's in Rome.
But, you may have to take this particular report with a grain of salt, since the individual doing the reporting was one "John Steinbeck," the name of the famous American author.
Is it true? Or is it fake news? Someone needs to confirm.
