Miss America Nina Davuluri is a Native of Syracuse
Miss New York, Nina Davuluri, has been crowned Miss America 2014 when the pageant was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Davuluri, according to the Miss America website contestant profiles, lists her hometown as Syracuse.
