This time of the year is very important to me - it marks many anniversaries of huge life changes and events, all in a matter of a few weeks. So I decided to celebrate one of those anniversaries with the Utica Comets.

Alright, so let me give you a little background information you may, or may not know. I moved to Utica back in November of last year (2014). I'll rundown a little timeline for you, of the important dates I'll always remember (but I'll keep it pretty brief):

October 19, 2014: The first time I had ever been to Central New York... Actually the first time I had ever stepped foot in New York altogether.

October 20, 2014: I applied for an opening at Lite 98.7 and this day marks the day of my job interview, and getting a tour of Utica and the surrounding area.

October 31, 2014: I received a call that I had gotten the job, and needed to start making plans to move to New York in the coming weeks.

November 13, 2014: I officially moved to Utica - Packed up my bags, had a moving truck, made it into town, and found a place to live.

November 14, 2014: My first Utica Comets game (That's right, I don't waste any time when it comes to hockey)

November 17, 2014: My first day as an on-air personality on Lite 98.7

As you can see from the list some pretty exciting things happened last year, that will always be anniversary days for me - I'll always remember the huge changes in my life, that all seemed to happen in just a short, short time.

From the list, you'll see that my first Utica Comets game was on November 14, 2014 (which today is the anniversary for it). So how am I going to celebrate that awesome anniversary?

Well... By going to the Utica Comets game tonight, of course! I'll take the trip out to Syracuse to cheer on the Comets, and celebrate this anniversary - the right way! Let's just hope the game goes better than last night's game!

Let's Go Comets!!!
