Join us for a wonderful event to bring awareness to women's heart health at the Beeches Inn and Conference Center this Friday. It's the National Wear Red Day Luncheon!

We've teamed up with the American Heart Association in Central New York for their "Go Red for Women" campaign. This year there are many events going on in Central New York that will bring awareness to women's heart health and give us the tools and information we need to protect our hearts, as well as hearing stories from survivors and those affected by heart disease, heart attack, and stroke firsthand.

One of those events, "The National Wear Red Day Luncheon," is coming up this Friday, on National Wear Red Day. The luncheon is at the Beeches Inn and Conference Center in Rome, and will begin at 12pm, with registration beginning at 11:30am.

This luncheon will bring the community together as we address women's heart health, and hear powerful messages on heart health, preventative measures, warning signs, and other information associated with heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. Naomi Lynn from middays will be emceeing the event and Deb O'Neill will be the featured guest and Passion Speaker for the afternoon. She'll share her incredible story that emphasizes the strength of women. And O'Neill's daughter Kathryn has been a member of the "Survivor Class." But you can hear more of O'Neill's powerful story at the luncheon on Friday.

Tickets are still available if you would like to be a part of this fantastic event focusing on women's heart health. You can get more information and get your tickets, by visiting: HeartOfUtica.Heart.org

Join us for this wonderful event, and don't forget to wear your red on National Wear Red Day. Many businesses in the area have taken the "Red Pledge" and will be decorating and lighting up their businesses and organizations in red to bring awareness to women's heart health. This year, we have more businesses than ever that have agreed to "Glow Red." You can see the list of businesses and organizations that will be glowing red, and have encouraged their employees to wear red, at the link below:

We hope to see you at the National Wear Red Day Luncheon this Friday. We'll also keep you updated on other "Go Red for Women" events in our area as we get closer to those dates.
