It's getting colder by the day, Christmas is right around the corner and that means winter is upon us. Maybe you have a coup full of chickens in the back yard and you want to make sure they stay warm and cozy this chilly season?

Try. A. Chicken. Sweater!

After knowing plenty of people with chickens, it seems like a really strange concept but they (the chickens) actually LOVE it (based on the people I know who have used chicken sweaters for their flock.) It's also a great way to help them grow back their feathers if they're having a hard time with that. Also, works great for bald hens to keep them warm in the winter.

Etsy, the online store that allows crafters to sell products, has plenty of sellers who can make hand made chicken sweaters. They offer them in different colors, sizes, patterns.

These are some of the shops just to name a few:

All of these shops have chicken sweaters available for purchase!

If you're someone who is very crafty yourself, did you know it's actually pretty simple to make a chicken sweater yourself?
