Ever find yourself out for a walk when you suddenly need a nap? One town in Central New York has got you covered.

It appears as though a New Hartford resident has taken it upon themselves to install a 'nap station' along Paris Road in New Hartford. While the nap station is a little low on amenities - you'll be forced to BYOB (bring your own blanket) and pillow - and basically anything else, it's still nice to see neighbors looking out for neighbors.

We were out for a walk on Sunday, and after a delicious breakfast at Sammy's Cafe, we decided a nap was definitely in order. Rather than wait til we had walked all the way home to the comfort of our own home (and a definitively sanitary mattress) I decided to avail myself of the new 'Nap Station' - a full-sized mattress.

Aside from the traffic whizzing by, the odd stares from drivers, the cold, and the potential for bed bugs, it wasn't half bad.

Have you ever had a temporary 'Nap Station' installed in your neighborhood? What about a temporary 'Reading Station'?

What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen by the side of the road?
