The adventures and exploring continues! This weekend I headed into Clinton to learn more about the area, and see what I could find.

First Stop - Alteri's

I headed there for dinner Saturday night, and it was packed. I'm pretty sure I got the last table in the building. I had a Utica Club and ordered their homemade lasagna. Now, lasagna is my favorite food ever (even more than nachos, so that's saying a lot), so I had a pretty high standard for it.

Alteri's didn't disappoint. The lasagna was awesome! It was the perfect blend of sauce, noodles, meat, and cheeses. And I'm not saying this just to be nice, but honestly, it was probably the best lasagna I ever had.

Hamilton College

I was told I should check out the college, and the scenery around it. That was a fun drive. Look, I come from the flat lands of Michigan, and haven't done much exploring in my lifetime. The hills and valleys, and everything around here is so breath-taking to me. That was the case driving through the hills around Hamilton College. It was great, and just so amazing to see such beautiful scenery.

I did get a little carried away though, traveling all those hilly roads. Before I knew it, I was in Vernon. Oops.

Shops, Shops, And More Shops

I did a little walking around by the shopping area. There's quite a few places I would love to go back and check out more. No, not love to... have to. There's a lot of stores and businesses in that area, it felt like I found some hidden treasures.

I also did a lot of wandering around the center of the village area, where there's a nice walkway, memorial pieces, and this...

I thought that was really cool. I was on the search for the ginkgo tree, (Eric Meier told me I should try to find it), but I didn't find it! I feel like I haven't explored enough of Clinton yet, so I'll definitely have to come back for more adventures, and fun.
