The Uptown Theatre for Creative Arts is bringing something new - and hilarious - to Utica.

Everyone has a movie they know so well, they could recite it from memory (hello, Twister) - now imagine that scenario, except with a group of your friends and alcohol.

That's what's happening at the Uptown this weekend, starting at 7pm on May 24 and May 25 courtesy to 'The Armory' comedy improv troupe.

"NYC's newest and most punk rock comedy theater The Armory is coming to Utica for a weekend residency with UTCA. Save the date for improv comedy and two performances of their original, hilarious show: Shot 4 Shot. Shot4Shot is a movie game with a drinking problem. Improvisers/actors are blind cast, the scripts sent out an few hours prior, costumes assembled from whatever they can get their hands on, and fun times are had."

The troupe will be re-enacting 'Big' on Friday, and 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace' on Saturday.

If you wan to check it out, you can grab tickets from the UTCA website: UTCANY.org. Tickets are $10 for UTCA members, and $15 for non-members. You can see even more on the event's Facebook page.
