Teachers: we can never thank them enough for everything that they do for our children. They go above and beyond to take care of our kids during the day, help them learn, and become contributing members of society.

The period of time during the coronavirus pandemic, we developed a different kind of appreciation for our educators.

Just when we thought they were already going above and beyond, they faced so many challenges and did their best with the circumstances that they were given. It definitely wasn't easy, but they made the best of it and our children will forever remember how some of their teachers helped them during such a hard time.

Is there a teacher you can think of that is REALLY into sports? One who tries to incorporate sports and physical fitness in the classroom? Who took that time to go above and beyond for your children?

Lite 98.7 has teamed up with the Harlem Globetrotters for a contest called "Ballin' In The Classroom."

The team is coming to the Adirondack Bank Center on March 2, and we wanted to recognize one special teacher for their added efforts in the classroom, while promoting physical fitness and sports.

This is where you come in. Maybe you have a special teacher on the mind. We're asking you to nominate them and tell us about them. What makes them so special?

If we select your special nominee as the winner, not only will they receive tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters game, they'll get tickets for the entire class. The teacher will also receive special recognition by the team. How cool.

All you have to do is fill out the form below to have your nominee go in the running. We'll be selecting a winner Monday, February 21.
