There’s something in the air right now, and it’s not just the smell of garlic, wood-fired crust, and fresh basil wafting from a tucked-away kitchen you haven’t tried yet (but should). It’s the unmistakable hum of a region in celebration mode. From downtown Utica to the edges of Verona Beach, Oneida County is throwing a full-on flavor fest. Right. Now.

Oneida County Restaurant Week is officially underway, and if you love food even a little bit, this is your sign to put your usual takeout order on pause.

What is Restaurant Week?

Over 50 locally owned restaurants are taking part in this culinary showcase, running through July 24. Each one is offering up limited-time menus, prix-fixe specials, and creative dishes that highlight the best of what our food scene has to offer, without the usual price tag. We're talking three-course meals for $15 to $50, and specials you won’t see again once this week wraps.

But this isn't just about a good deal on dinner. It's a full-on invitation to explore, indulge, and support the food spots that give this area its unique flavor.

How Does Restaurant Week Work?

Simple. You pick a place. You show up hungry. You order from the Restaurant Week menu. That’s it. No tickets, no passwords, no reservations required (though for some spots, you might want one).
