Remember where you were twelve years ago?  A beautiful sunny day turned into a national day of terror, death and destruction as our nation was attacked on September 11th, 2001.  Remembering the events of 9/11.The events of 9/11 are as clear to me today as they were twelve years ago when I was about to spend the day at the beach in Virginia.  The trip to the beach never happened as I, along with  the rest of the country and the world, watched in horror as the Towers fell, the plane crashed in Pennsylvania and the Pentagon burned.

This was on a van I saw recently in the parking lot at Walmart.  No, Americans haven't forgotten 9/11.

While we can't undo the horrible events of that day, we can promise to never forget what happened, continue to honor those who gave their lives and care for those left behind and all the first responders who answered the call.  How many people have gotten sick from helping out at Ground Zero?  They need to be cared for too.  God bless America.
