Robert Downey Jr.’s Son Indio Was Arrested For Cocaine Possession [VIDEO]

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, a chip off the old block, like father like son...all phrases you can use when talking about Robert Downey Jr's son Indio, who was arrested Sunday (June 30th, 2014) on drug possession charges.

20 year-old Indio Falconer Downey was pulled over in West Hollywood and the cops found what they believed to be cocaine as well as a smoking pipe on his person.

CNN tells us:

Robert Downey Jr.'s representative released a statement saying that Downey was "grateful to the Sheriff's department for their intervention."

"Unfortunately there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it," the rep said.

Indio is a musician and is the son of Robert and his first wife, Deborah, who he divorced in 2004 after almost 12 years of marriage.

Let's hope he gets the help he needs in this situation.
