Scarlett Johansson Recruits ‘Avengers’ for Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief
The Avengers unite for a one-night only event to take on hurricane relief, thanks to Black Widow herself.
Actress Scarlett Johansson is organizing a star-studded benefit for Puerto Rico with help of fellow Marvel cast members Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the John Gore Organization announced the event is a live reading of Thorton Wilder's three-act play, Our Town, with the Avengers actors taking part alongside some surprise guests. To be held at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA on Monday, November 6, the benefit will be directed by Tony-winning director Kenny Leon.
Tickets for the benefit go on sale on Monday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. EST and all proceeds will go towards the Hurricane Maria Community Relief & Recovery Fund.
