CNY Kids Get a Ride in a Police Cruiser for a Good Cause

The backseat of a police cruiser is one of the last places you want to find yourself. Five CNY kids found themselves there, and they couldn't have been happier.

When the Rome Free Academy's JROTC asked the Rome Police Department for a donation to their basket raffle, they never expected the department to donate what they did: a ride to school in a police cruiser.

The winners, Giulia and Sofia, brought their friends Nicolina, Tyler, and Isabella along for their "Ride to School With a Police Officer."

According to their Facebook page, the Rome Police Department officer has as great an experience as the kids did. Kudos to the department for doing such a great thing for children and to support the RFA JROTC.
