Roxy is All Heart and Ready for Her New Home

Roxy Hart is the name of the murderous character in Chicago. Not to be confused with this Roxy, who is all HEART, and ready to go home with you.

She's a sweet four year-old Terrier-Pit Bull mix and here's the statement she gave to Tamara, from the Humane Society of Rome:

Hello there! I'm Roxy I am new to the shelter here but what the staff can already tell is that I am a very sweet loving girl who has a love for stuffed toys! I can be a bit reserved with people until I get to know you, but once you're my friend, I will always be happy to see you and give you gentle kisses. I am a very easygoing girl who doesn't ask for much but a good cuddle, a belly rub, and a nice walk or a car ride. I think would fit in fine with just about any loving family. I have lived with kids in my past home and really enjoyed being around them. I have been dog selective in the past but tend to get along with most calmer submissive dogs, a proper meet and greet is always required. I can be wary of strangers who approach my kennel but believe me, I'm just nervous and want to protect my space. The minute you take me out, you'll get to see all my great qualities. Stop by the shelter and ask to meet me you won't be disappointed!
