If you're a survivor of heart disease, a heart attack, or a stroke - or are living with a heart defect - your story can save lives.

Stories are powerful. They can enlighten, educate, and inspire - and we want to hear yours. The American Heart Association is recruiting women for the Go Red for Women 2020 'Survivor Class' because we understand the power of your story - and it's ability to change the life of other mothers, sisters, and friends.

As part of the Go Red For Women luncheon that will take place on May 6, 2020, the American Heart Association gathers together survivors of heart disease - whether you have experienced a heart attack, a stroke, heart disease or any other heart issue - to share their stories. It sounds a little scary - but it's not. You'll be recognized at the luncheon - and the power of your story to save the lives of other women will be unleashed.

Do you fit this description? Do you know someone who does? You can nominate them (or yourself) to be a part of the 2020 Survivor Class.

We need your story. You never know whose life you might change.

To apply to be part of this year's class, just fill out the application and submit it to the email address included on the application:
