Summer vacation is here, but that doesn't mean kids have to miss out on a healthy meal.
Free Summer Meals are available across Central New York for all kids and teens ages 18 and younger. There are no income requirements, no registration and no ID needed at most locations. Whether your child is spending the day at a park, library or community center, there's a good chance a free meal is nearby.
Who Can Get Free Summer Meals?
The Summer Food Service Program helps make sure children have access to nutritious meals while school is out. Breakfasts and lunches include healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, grains and protein, and many sites also offer games, crafts and other summer activities.
