The retail apocalypse continues: clothing retailer Forever 21 is reportedly set to file for bankruptcy protection in an effort to restructure it's debt.
The decision was made to “preserve the existing stores, 350 employees and continue providing great products at reasonable prices to the Central New York community,” according to their press release.
Toys R Us has made the decision to close its US stores. Now, the company is telling customers they don't have much time to use any remaining gift cards.
Central New York has lost a number of large retailers in the past few years, including Gander Mountain, Kmart and Circuit City. Now, another big store has filed for bankruptcy protection...and experts say the future doesn't look good.
