With a new school year underway, it's a good time to remember the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut that rattled the country last December.

The Super Bowl is all about fun times and mirth and merriment. But Super Bowl XLVII kicked off with an emotional moment of incredible weight, when the Sandy Hook Student Chorus from Newton, Conn. stepped onto the field to sing 'America the Beautiful' at tonight's (Feb. 3) big game. The children sang the song on their own before being joined by diva Jennifer Hudson.
