The first snowfall of the season has some schools in Central New York starting a little later.

With a winter storm looming, sloppy and wet road conditions have caused some schools in CNY to start their day a little late.

Oneida County is waking up to a Winter Weather Advisory and some schools in Central New York have already called for a delay.

A wintry mix of snow and rain has led to the first weather-related school delays of the school year.

If your child's school is on this list they may have a snow day or delay.

The following programs and after school activities are delayed and / or cancelled for Tuesday, December 17, 2013:

Power outages are causing delays this morning.  New Hartford Schools are on a one-hour delay.  New York Mills Schools are on a one-hour delay.

The recent storms may cause headaches for your ride in this morning. A number of roads are flooded or closed causing several school delays and closings. Poland Central School is CLOSED New York Mills CLOSED - staff must report at 10am Madison Central Schools CLOSED Hughes Elementary in New Hartford is CLOSED to due a power outage. Staff still must report. Sauquoit Valley Central CLOSED
