The Future Of Food

Remember how the future was suppose to be full of meal pills, and jet packs? Well this story is right out of the Jetsons!

Pepsi is in the works of developing drinkable food. Thats right, meals in a can or a bottle!

"We see the emerging opportunity to 'snackify' beverages and 'drinkify' snacks as the next frontier in food and beverage convenience," said Pepsi's nutritionist Mehmood Khan.

He thinks it's outdated to think that snacks are dry and beverages are wet.

"Consumers don't wake up in the morning and say, 'I'm going to have a whole grain; I want a dairy product,'" Dr. Khan said. "They're looking for combinations of those things."

So let me paint you a pretty picture…. You are getting ready for work and running late! No time for a meal! Well all you have to do is open up this large breakfast meal drink, and enjoy! Ok maybe I’m going a little crazy!
