The Girl Scouts Have a New Cookie and There’s Caramel Involved

The Girl Scouts have added a new cookie to their line-up for the 2019 cookie season, and we couldn't be more excited.

Caramel Chocolate Chip, will join the 2019 Girl Scout Cookie season lineup, as a gluten-free offering with limited availability in select areas. The cookie features "rich caramel, semisweet chocolate chips, and a hint of sea salt in a chewy cookie'" according to the official description. Along with the gluten-free Toffee-tastic^® cookie, also available in select areas, you'll be able to enjoy a gluten-free offering along with the rest of the lineup during the 2019 cookie season.

People have some serious opinions about which Girl Scout cookie is the best. Samoas? Thin Mints? Tagalongs? It's hard to say for sure, which is why it's often wise to just get yourself a box of each cookie and taste test.

When does Girl Scout Cookie season start?

The 2019 date hasn't been announced yet, but cookies generally go on sale in Central New York around the last weeks of January or first week of February.
