Well summer's here, and while many of us are excited about heading out of state to vacation, others are pumped up about coming to Central New York!

Here are 3 must do things when you visit Syracuse!

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

This place not only serves up tasty ribs that fall off the bone, and melt in your mouth; they also feature some of the best live entertainment in all of Central New York. The last time I visited, got to see the band Castle Creek Trio. The show was fantastic and the acoustics inside the venue are incredible. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, and the beef brisket platter and ribs. It's a good thing I had plenty of napkins handy, I used 12 while enjoying my smokey feast! No trip to Syracuse should be complete without visiting this classic joint!

Onondaga Lake Park

If you tune into my show in the morning, you are well aware of how much I love this place. I talk about it all the time. I love jogging, and this beautiful attraction offers one of the most ideal environments for running, biking, and rollerblading. It's also a great place to bring a date. There are plenty of quaint and cozy restaurants you can check out after you've toured the Salt Museum, relaxed on the pier, or gave your dog the time of his life at the amazing dog park!

Destiny USA

I jumped for joy when I learned that Destiny USA had go cart racing! I've been looking for a high speed track for quite some time. After I took my first lap, I knew that I'd be back again to ride! Destiny also has a Dave and Busters. If you have kids, or consider yourself a kid at heart, you'll love this place! I came here for a bachelor party a couple weeks ago. When I heard the event was happening at an arcade, I kind of shrugged my shoulders at first. Really an arcade? Once I got to eating wings, and playing games, all my doubts disappeared. Who knew that 40 year old man could be so content playing and winning on the arcade version of Angry Birds! Oh, I got a sweet baseball cap after I redeemed all of my tickets!

These girls had the time of their lives when they made a road trip to the Cuse!

Here's this morning's Just Jen!

Have you ever heard of taking ice baths to grow your stamina and endurance? I've got a friend who's doing this. Jen and I discussed this odd new trend.
