Tour the New Oneida Square Roundabout on Genesee Street in Utica [VIDEO]

The new roundabout (or traffic circle) opened late last night at Oneida Square in Utica.  The roundabout replaces a multitude of traffic signals at the intersection of Genesee, State, Park, Plant, and Oneida Streets.

I grabbed my camera and took a drive around the roundabout earlier today.  I'm entering from Plant/State Street;  Plant no longer goes all the way to Genesee.  The video shows a full loop around the traffic circle and exits at Genesee Street northbound.

Traffic was a little hesitant as I suspect most were encountering the circle for the first time.
