The flames of a house fire on Schuyler Street in West Utica claimed 4 lives this morning.  Our partner,  WIBX, is following the story.

Three children and their mother were killed in a morning fire on Schuyler Street in West Utica.

It happened at 935-937 Schuyler Street, however the occupants of 937 Schuyler were able to safely escape, according to Fire Chief Russ Brooks.

The call came in at around 9:30 a.m., and firefighters responded to find one of the apartments full engulfed, he said.

An infant, two year old and four year old, along with their mother were found dead inside the home.
