Utica firefighters braved the sub-zero cold last Thursday to fight a fire at 763-65 Bleeker Street. It's impressive to watch Central New York's finest subdue the flames. They also successfully rescued eight residents and one very thankful cat.

All eight residents were safely evacuated. A cat was rescued from the building and recuperated in one of the fire engines before being returned to its owners.
