Utica Native Annette Funicello Recovering From Smoke Inhalation
We wish a speedy recovery to Utica native and former Mouseketeer Annette Funicello who is recovering from smoke inhalation after a fire at her Encino, California home last week.
The LA Times has the full story:
Apparently no one suffered any fire-related injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. It was unclear if Funicello was among the occupants taken to the hospital.
Property records for the 3,600-square-foot house do not list Funicello as the owner, but neighbors told The Times and KCAL-TV Channel 9 news that the famous former Mouseketeer and teen heartthrob has lived there for years.
Video of the fire-damaged interior showed memorabilia, such as Funicello movie posters.
