Utica/Rome 80’s Bands Preserved On Vinyl

The 1980's certainly had no shortage of home grown bands here in the Mohawk Valley.   In the days before YouTube, your options were to hear them play live at places like 4 Acres, Livingston's Ale House, Milo's, Lilly Langtry's, The Old Barn or one of the many other area clubs, or you could listen to them in your turntable.  Some of those bands preserved their music by recording vinyl record albums.

Mere Mortals was a popular area hard-rock band.

ROCK 107 released an album of local musicians and bands with proceeds from sales going to charity.  Remember them?

One of Donna Ray's bands was Screaming Nurse.  We wonder if that Chevelle is still on the road.
