Best Father and Daughter Dance Ever

In this video, a slow father-daughter dance at a bat mitzvah turns into a lengthy choreographed extravaganza. This isn’t the first dance medley at a formal function we’ve seen, of course, but it may very well be the most awesomely awkward.

Mike Hanley and daughter Jessica dance for a full five minutes to everything from the Jackson Five to Lady Gaga. Jessica does well, but her dad, who’s also a stand-up comedian, is awfully stiff. His moves to 50 Cent’s ‘In Da Club’ are particularly ham-handed.

Still, you’ve got to respect dad’s uncaring attitude on the dance floor. After all, a girl only has one coming-of-age ceremony. Besides, as a comedian, we bet he’s used to being laughed at.
