It's November and maybe you don't know what that means - no shaving that beard for the ENTIRE month! I blew it for the past two years in a row now and am gonna try not to shave this year (it gets darn itchy!), but what exactly is No-shave November for? Is there a purpose or is it just some fad? Turns out it's actually all about cancer. 'Growing' cancer awareness that is.

We all know, some of us painfully that cancer patients lose their hair throughout their battle with this deadly disease so the idea is to let our hair grow free and plentiful and donate whatever you would spend on grooming to cancer research. You don't have to necessarily shag out completely, but if you don't normally wear a mustache, goatee or any facial hair, now's the time to let it ride. But guess what, this isn't just for the men. Ladies, you're encouraged to set your razors down too for Leg Hair, Don't Care month. Of course if you'd care not to risk alienating your man, your donations will still be proudly accepted.

So, STOP shaving and grooming (or just do so less) and people will ask why (if it's visible, haha) and now you can tell them. Hey, if you're still a little unsure, just say that another winter is on it's way, time to grow some insulation!
