What’s on the Other Side of the World from Utica?

Imagine you started digging in your backyard and just kept going.  Through crust, mantle, core and back out the other side.  Ever wonder where you'd end up?  We did the virtual digging for you and found out.

Using a cool tool called the Antipode Map, we were able to pinpoint the exact location that's on the oposite side of the world.  For this experiement, we placed the pin at Utica's City Hall (43.101233552974776, -75.23574829101562) and came up with a location in the middle of the Southern Indian Ocean well of the coast of Western Australia.
