Copper is the Gold Standard for Good Dogs

If you're looking for a REALLY good dog who won't take up too much space, you couldn't do much better than Copper.

Copper is a beagle who's about two years old and he's been at the Humane Society of Rome for just a couple of weeks. The staff at HSR took this "statement" from him as he made his own pitch to find a new home:

My name is Copper! I am a sweet and playful guy who loves a good cuddle. Sometimes when I meet new people I get a little shy but the staff says just give me a little love and patience and I am quick to warm up. I lived with my fur-brother in my past home and would be willing to possibly share a home with a new brother, a proper meet and greet is always required. The staff has cat tested me and said I could live with a kitty too! I even wouldn't mind a human sibling or 2! Stop by the shelter and ask to see me, you won't be disappointed!
