He is an adorable, 8 1/2 month old, neutered male, tan and white pit mix pup. He is active and outgoing and full of hugs and kisses for everyone he meets.
4 weeks ago Great news Willow was adopted quickly from the Rome Humane Society so today we have a new pet for you. Tatum is a very cute, 3 year old, neutered male, buff and white kitty. He is a very active and playful boy who loves to race around, snoop and will play with just about anyone. They expect him to be adopted quickly as well.
April 17, 2013 Thank You SO much pet lovers! Binya the cat and dogs Sam, Tank & Cooper have been adopted from the Rome Humane Society. Now we would like to find Willow a home. She is a gorgeous, 2 year old, long haired gray and white cat. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Wilow is friendly and outgoing and she loves to be petted and brushed.

Cooper is a beautiful, 10 year old, spayed female, black lab mix. They are outgoing and friendly and they love everyone, including you!
March 13, 2013 If your looking for a cat with plenty of kitten to play with, Simba is for you. He is a handsome, 9 month old, neutered black cat. He is so shiny and sleek and quite large for his age. When you see him you'll think he looks like a panther. Simba is outgoing and friendly and he loves to play and explore. Simba is a very active guy.
February 27, 2013 Auggie came to the Rome Humane Society back in October. He's had a hard time finding a home because he is a very talkative boy. Auggie would bark a lot in his kennel so potential adopters would decided against taking him home. He got depressed waiting at the shelter, so he went to a foster home. His foster mom is a dog trainer and she has done a wonderful job training him.

January 30, 2013 Wonderful news Rome pet owners, Perro, Lily and Salita all have been adopted from the Rome Humane Society. Today we'd like to find a home for Mercury. Mercury came to the shelter at the beginning of December as a stray. She has been waiting very patiently for her forever family so you've got to come meet Mercury soon.
January 9, 2013 Lily did have a home, but when a new baby came along, she got very upset and scared at the crying so she hid under the bed all the time. Her family decided that they should bring her to the shelter in hopes that she could find a family with no babies or small kids that will alarm her.
January 2, 2013 Sally is such a pretty girl who likes to talk and go for walks. She'll sniff just about anything that has a smell. She came to the shelter as a stray back on December 12th and has been patiently waiting for a family ever since.
December 26, 2012 Salita reminds me of a cat I had years ago named Mittens. Mittens started her life out on the streets. Salita had a home once upon a time, but her family moved and left her behind. They lived out in the country, so Salita retreated into the woods and managed to survive on her own for a couple of years!
