It’s almost 2014 and while equal rights for women is something that was supposedly established decades ago, the attitudes really haven’t changed.

Through the many things that happened in 2013 there are many things that can be celebrated but a closer look at some of the coverage this past year reveals something completely different. A GOP leader calls Miss America a prostitute for standing up against bullying and sex used to sell hamburgers are just a few points. Just how far have we come as a society? Are there really equal rights and balanced coverage?
